The Luna Nero d'Avola from Vaccaro has a deep ruby red color in the glass. The nose reveals fruity notes of ripe cherries, red berries and a hint of liquorice.
On the palate, the Luna Nero d'Avola reveals a good body and fruity, spicy aromas. This "red" from Sicily is rounded off with pleasant tannins. This red wine from the south of Italy has a good length with a fruity finish.
Vinification of the Luna Nero d'Avola from Vaccaro
The Nero d'Avola grapes underwent a two-week fermentation at around 26°C with constant flooding. One part matured for 4 months in stainless steel, one part in barriques.
