The light-footed Maximin Riesling from the house Maximin Grünhaus comes into the glass with brilliant light yellow. The nose of this Maximin Grünhaus white wine shows all sorts of apricots, guavas, physalis, nectarines and Gallia melon.
On the tongue, this light-bodied white wine is characterized by a tremendously crisp texture. In the finish, this storable white wine from the Mosel wine-growing region finally inspires with beautiful length. There are again hints of star fruit and Gallia melon. In the aftertaste, mineral notes of the slate-dominated soils join in.
Vinification of the Maximin Riesling from Maximin Grünhaus
This white wine clearly focuses on one grape variety, and that is Riesling. Only the best grapes were harvested for this wonderfully elegant varietal wine from Maximin Grünhaus. The grapes grow under optimal conditions on the Mosel. The vines here dig their roots deep into soils of slate. After the grape harvest, the grapes are immediately taken to the press house. Here they are selected and carefully broken up. Fermentation follows at controlled temperatures. The fermentation is followed by aging .
