More information about Mit den Wolken ziehen trocken - Weingut Kiefer

In the glass, the Mit den Wolken ziehen from Weingut Kiefer reveals a brilliant shimmering light yellow color. Poured into a white wine glass, this white wine from the Old World offers wonderfully expressive aromas of peach, grapefruit, lime and jasmine, rounded off by gingerbread spice, cocoa bean and oriental spices.

The Weingut Kiefer Mit den Wolken ziehen inspires with its elegantly dry taste. It was bottled with only 4.6 grams of residual sugar. This is a real quality wine, which clearly stands out from simpler qualities and so this German wine naturally enchants with the finest balance despite all dryness. Aroma does not necessarily need sugar. On the tongue, this light-footed white wine is characterized by an incredibly crisp texture. Due to the balanced fruit acidity, the Mit den Wolken ziehen flatters with a soft palate feeling, without lacking juicy liveliness. In the finish, this white wine from the wine-growing region of Baden finally inspires with good length. Again, hints of grapefruit and violets show up. In the aftertaste, mineral notes of the soils dominated by limestone and loess soil join in.

Vinification of Mit den Wolken ziehen by Weingut Kiefer

This elegant white wine from Germany is made from the grape varieties Müller-Thurgau, Riesling and Sauvignon Blanc. The grapes grow in optimal conditions in Baden. The vines here dig their roots deep into soils of limestone and loess. The grapes for this white wine from Germany are harvested, at the time of optimal ripeness, exclusively by hand. After the harvest, the grapes are quickly taken to the winery. Here they are selected and carefully broken up. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After the end of fermentation, the Mit den Wolken ziehen can continue to harmonize on the fine lees for a few months.
