The foundation for the balanced Müller-Mayer-Schmidt Müller-Thurgau from Germany is grapes from the Müller-Thurgau variety. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in the Pfalz. The vines dig their roots deep into soils of clay and loess. After harvest, the grapes are immediately brought to the winery, where they are selected and gently crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After fermentation is complete, the Müller-Mayer-Schmidt Müller-Thurgau can harmonize on the fine lees for several months.
