More information about Tradition Riesling trocken - Bergdolt-Reif & Nett

In the glass, the Tradition Riesling from the house of Bergdolt-Reif & Nett displays a bright light yellow color. This white wine from Bergdolt-Reif & Nett offers aromas of lychees, pears, green apples, grapefruits, and ripe apples, complemented by lime leaves. The Bergdolt-Reif & Nett Tradition Riesling presents itself pleasantly dry to the wine connoisseur. This white wine never appears coarse or meager, as one might expect from a wine in the premium price range. On the palate, this balanced white wine is characterized by an incredibly light and crisp texture. With its prominent fruit acidity, the Tradition Riesling impressively shows fresh and lively notes on the palate. In the finish, this youthful white wine from the Pfalz region ultimately delights with good length, revealing hints of pear and ripe apple once again. In the aftertaste, mineral notes from the clay and loess soil-dominated regions join in.

Vinification of the Bergdolt-Reif & Nett Tradition Riesling

The basis for the balanced Tradition Riesling from Germany is grapes from the Riesling variety. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in the Pfalz. The vines dig their roots deep into soils of clay and loess here. After harvesting, the grapes quickly make their way to the press house. Here, they are sorted and carefully crushed. This is followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After fermentation, the wine undergoes maturation on the fine lees for several months before being finally bottled.

Food Recommendation for the Tradition Riesling from Bergdolt-Reif & Nett

This white wine from Germany is best enjoyed well chilled at 8 - 10°C. It pairs perfectly as a companion to asparagus salad with quinoa, vegetable salad with beetroot, or pan-fried trout with ginger-pear.
