More information about Edition Riesling trocken - Bergdolt-Reif & Nett

With the Bergdolt-Reif & Nett Edition Riesling, a first-class white wine enters the swirled glass. Here, it presents a wonderfully bright, light yellow color. Poured into a white wine glass, this white wine from Germany displays delightfully aromatic notes of apricot, pineapple, ripe apple, and peach, rounded off with further fruity nuances.

On the palate, the Edition Riesling by Bergdolt-Reif & Nett starts off pleasantly aromatic, fruit-driven, and balanced. On the tongue, this well-balanced white wine is characterized by an incredibly crisp and light texture. Its pronounced fruit acidity makes the Edition Riesling taste wonderfully fresh and lively on the palate. The finish of this youthful white wine from the Pfalz region, specifically from Duttweiler, is distinguished by a good aftertaste. The finish is also accompanied by mineral notes from the clay and loess-dominated soils.

Vinification of the Bergdolt-Reif & Nett Edition Riesling

This balanced white wine from Germany is vinified from the Riesling grape variety. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in the Pfalz. The vines dig their roots deep into soils of clay and loess. After the grape harvest, the grapes are promptly taken to the winery. Here, they are sorted and carefully crushed. The fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After the fermentation is complete, the Edition Riesling can harmonize further on the fine lees for a few months.

Food Recommendation for the Bergdolt-Reif & Nett Edition Riesling

This German wine is a perfect companion to leek soup, wok vegetables with fish, or vegetable stew with pesto.
