More information about Golfing Pinot Blanc dry - Bergdolt-Reif & Nett

The Golfing Pinot Blanc from the wine-growing region of the Pfalz presents itself in the glass with a bright pale yellow. On the nose, this Bergdolt-Reif & Nett white wine reveals a variety of grapefruits, green apples, and pears.

The Bergdolt-Reif & Nett Golfing Pinot Blanc is wonderfully dry for the wine drinker. This white wine never comes across as coarse or sparse, as one might expect from a wine in the premium price segment. Balanced and complex, this crisp and creamy white wine presents itself on the palate. Its prominent fruity acidity reveals the Golfing Pinot Blanc to be delightfully fresh and lively on the palate. The finish of this white wine from the Pfalz region, specifically from Duttweiler, is marked by a good aftertaste. The finish is also accompanied by mineral facets derived from the soils dominated by loess and clay.

Vinification of the Bergdolt-Reif & Nett Golfing Pinot Blanc

This balanced white wine from Germany is made from the Pinot Blanc grape variety. In the Pfalz, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow in soils of clay and loess. After manual harvesting, the grapes are quickly transported to the winery. Here, they are selected and gently crushed. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After fermentation, the wine is aged for a few months on the fine lees before finally being racked off.

Food Pairing for the Golfing Pinot Blanc by Bergdolt-Reif & Nett

This German white wine pairs perfectly with veal onion casserole, onion tart with thyme, or spring rolls with minced meat filling.
