The Neropasso Rosso Veneto from the Veneto wine-growing region is a bright purple red in the glass. This Biscardo red wine presents the nose with all kinds of plums, morello cherries, damsons, blueberries and black cherries. As if that wasn't already impressive, bitter chocolate, cocoa bean and vanilla are added thanks to the ageing in stainless steel.

This silky red wine is balanced and complex on the palate. The moderate fruit acidity gives the Neropasso Rosso Veneto a velvety mouthfeel without lacking any juicy liveliness. On the finish, this storable red wine from the Veneto wine-growing region finally delights with good length. Once again, there are hints of plum and mulberry.

Vinification of the Neropasso Rosso Veneto from Biscardo

The balanced Neropasso Rosso Veneto from Italy is a cuvée made from the Cabernet Sauvignon, Corvina and Corvinone grape varieties. After being harvested by hand, the grapes are quickly taken to the press house. Here they are selected and carefully crushed. This is followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by maturation on the fine lees for several months before the wine is finally bottled.

This Italian wine is best enjoyed at a temperature of 15 - 18°C. It is perfect as an accompaniment to pumpkin casserole, spring rolls filled with minced meat or ossobuco.
