Vinification of Passo del Sud Edizione Appassimento Puglia from Tagaro SLR

This powerful red wine from Italy is made from the Merlot, Negroamaro, Nero di Troia and Primitivo grape varieties. After being harvested by hand, the grapes are immediately taken to the press house. There they are selected and gently crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After fermentation, the wine matures on the fine lees for several months before it is finally bottled.
