More information about Pergole Rosso - De Vigili
With the De Vigili Pergole Rosso, a first-class red wine flows into the well-polished wine glass. There it presents a wonderfully bright, ruby-red color. Poured into a red wine glass, this Old World red wine offers wonderfully complex aromas of blackberry, rounded off by further fruity nuances.
The De Vigili Pergole Rosso presents itself wonderfully dry to the wine drinker. This red wine never appears rough or austere, but rather round and smooth. Balanced and complex, this light, crisp, and silky red wine presents itself on the palate. On the finish, this wine from the Trentino-Alto Adige wine-growing region finally delights with beautiful length. Hints of blackberry once again appear.
Vinification of the De Vigili Pergole Rosso
This wine clearly focuses on a single grape variety, namely Teroldego. For this exceptionally well-balanced varietal wine from De Vigili, only first-class grape material was used. After harvest, the grapes are immediately brought to the pressing house. There they are selected and gently crushed. Fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures follows. After it ends, the Pergole Rosso can continue to harmonize on the fine lees for several months.
Food recommendation for the De Vigili Pergole Rosso
Enjoy this red wine from Italy ideally tempered at 15 - 18°C as an accompanying wine to boiled veal rump with beans and tomatoes, Boeuf Bourguignon, or goose breast with ginger red cabbage and marjoram.
