More information about Pink Hallelujah Rose - Weingut Hammel

The elegant Pink Hallelujah Rosé from Weingut Hammel flows into the glass with a brilliant purple-red color. The first nose of the Pink Hallelujah Rosé shows notes of grapefruit, raspberries and strawberries. Additional fruity-balsamic nuances join the fruity aspects of the bouquet.

This wine impresses with its straightforward, dry flavor profile. It was bottled with 7.7 grams of residual sugar. As you would expect from a wine, this German wine delights, despite all its dryness, with the finest balance. Aroma does not necessarily require residual sugar. On the palate, the texture of this well-balanced rosé wine presents itself as wonderfully crisp. Thanks to its striking fruit acidity, the Pink Hallelujah Rosé shows itself on the palate as delightfully fresh and lively. The finish of this rosé wine from the wine-growing region of the Pfalz ultimately convinces with a good length. The aftertaste is also accompanied by mineral facets of the clay- and loess-dominated soils.

Vinification of the Pink Hallelujah Rosé from Weingut Hammel

The basis for the balanced Pink Hallelujah Rosé from the Pfalz consists of grapes from the Frühburgunder and Saint Laurent varieties. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in the Pfalz. Here, the vines sink their roots deep into soils of clay and loess. After the hand harvest, the grapes are brought to the winery as quickly as possible. There they are sorted and carefully crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After fermentation, the wine is aged for several months on the fine lees before it is finally bottled.

Food recommendation for Weingut Hammel Pink Hallelujah Rosé

This German rosé wine is best enjoyed well chilled at 8 - 10°C. It is perfectly suited as an accompanying wine to fruity endive salad, cabbage rolls or pan-fried trout with ginger and pear.
