More information about Black Edition Rosé - Bergdolt-Reif & Nett

The Rosé Black Edition from Bergdolt-Reif & Nett was aged in barrique and large wood. Therefore, this powerful rosé from the Palatinate also comes with bright cherry red in the glass and smells intensely of ripe cherries, fresh and dried plums and cranberries. Smoky notes, wood as well as spicy-mineral hints complement.

On the palate, Bergdolt-Reif & Nett's Rosé Black Edition enraptures with a juicy mouthfeel, expressive tannins and a tremendous array of flavors. Not a wishy-washy rosé, but a rosé from the Palatinate that will delight not only fans of French Tavel wines.

Vinification of the Bergdolt-Reif & Nett Black Edition Rosé

For this rosé, Christian Nett drew the juice from the red wine mash after quite a long standing time. After fermentation, this powerful rosé was aged in barrique and 500-liter wooden barrels, giving it a particularly expressive and powerful aroma.

Food recommendation for the Black Edition Rosé

Enjoy this cuvée of Merlot, Pinot Noir and Cabernet Mitos with meat dishes, grilled seafood or just because.
