Vinification of the Martin Waßmer Markgräflerland Spätburgunder Rosé
The elegant Markgräflerland Spätburgunder Rosé from Germany is a single-varietal wine made from the Pinot Noir grape variety. At the time of optimal ripeness, the grapes for the Markgräflerland Spätburgunder Rosé are harvested exclusively by hand without the help of coarse and less selective machines. After the hand harvest, the grapes reach the press house by the fastest route. Here they are sorted and carefully ground. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. At the end of fermentation, the Markgräflerland Spätburgunder rosé is allowed to further harmonize on the fine lees for a few months.
