The Rosso di Montalcino DOC from Col d'Orcia has a dark ruby red color with a violet shimmer in the glass and unfolds its wonderful and intense bouquet, which is typical of a Sangiovese. It captivates with aromas of ripe red fruit, such as Amarena cherries, and spicy components.

Vinification for the Rosso di Montalcino DOC from Col d'Orcia
The grapes are harvested and selected by hand. After harvesting, maceration takes place for 12 days at a constant 28°C in stainless steel tanks to optimally extract the color and aroma of the grape skins. The wine is then transferred to Slavonian oak barrels with a capacity of 75-150 hectoliters, where it matures for 12 months. It is then refined in the bottle.
