More information about Spätburgunder feinherb - Weingut Kiefer

With the Weingut Kiefer Pinot Noir comes a first-class red wine in the wine glass. Here it presents a wonderfully brilliant, bright red color. Poured into a Bordeaux glass, this red wine from the Old World offers wonderfully youthful aromas of plum, blueberry, morello cherry and black currant, rounded off by black tea, gingerbread spice and oriental spices.

The Weingut Kiefer Pinot Noir reveals an incredibly fruity taste on the tongue, which is not least due to its residual sweet profile. Due to its lively fruit acidity, the Pinot Noir presents itself as fantastically fresh and lively on the palate.

Vinification of the Weingut Kiefer Pinot Noir

For this wonderfully elegant varietal wine from Weingut Kiefer only immaculate grapes were used. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Baden. The vines here dig their roots deep into soils of loam, loess soil and volcanic rock. After the grapes are harvested, they are quickly taken to the winery. Here they are selected and carefully crushed. Then fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After the end of fermentation, the Pinot Noir can continue to harmonize on the fine lees for a few months.

Food recommendation for the Pinot Noir of Weingut Kiefer

This German wine is best enjoyed tempered at 15 - 18°C. It is perfect as an accompanying wine to stuffed peppers, boeuf bourguignon or spaghetti with caper and tomato sauce.
