More information about Spätburgunder trocken - Michel Schneider

The Pinot Noir from the wine-growing region of the Palatinate offers itself in the glass in bright light red. This single-varietal German wine reveals wonderfully expressive notes of sour cherries in the glass. In addition, there are hints of cloves and black cherry.

This German wine delights with its elegantly dry flavor. It was bottled with 5.2 grams of residual sugar. As you would expect from a wine beyond the 4 euro mark, this German wine naturally enraptures with the finest balance despite all its dryness. Aroma does not necessarily need a lot of residual sugar. On the tongue, this balanced red wine is characterized by an incredibly dense texture. Due to its present fruit acidity, the Spätburgunder reveals itself wonderfully fresh and lively on the palate. In the finish, this youthful red wine from the wine-growing region of the Palatinate finally inspires with good length. Once again, hints of sour cherry appear.

Vinification of the Pinot Noir from Michel Schneider

The balanced Pinot Noir from Germany is a single-varietal wine, made from the Pinot Noir grape variety. After harvesting, the grapes reach the winery in the fastest way. Here they are selected and carefully broken up. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Once fermentation is complete, the Pinot Noir can continue to harmonize on the fine lees for several months.

Food recommendation for the Pinot Noir from Michel Schneider

This German wine is best enjoyed at a temperate 15 - 18°C. It is perfect as an accompanying wine to duck breast with snow peas, Thai cucumber salad or roasted calf's liver with apples, onions and balsamic vinegar sauce.
