On the palate, the light-footed La Montecchia Spumante Fior D'Arancio reveals an incredibly fruit-driven taste, which is by no means without reason due to its residual-sweet flavor profile. Light-footed and multi-layered, this velvety, creamy, dense and silky dessert wine presents itself on the palate. The finish of this dessert wine from the Veneto wine-growing region finally delights with a lovely aftertaste. The aftertaste is also accompanied by mineral notes from the clay- and volcanic-rock-dominated soils.
Vinification of La Montecchia Spumante Fior D'Arancio
This dessert wine clearly focuses on a single grape variety, namely Yellow Muscat. Only the best grape material was used for this exceptionally elegant varietal wine from La Montecchia. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Veneto. Here, the vines sink their roots deep into soils of clay and volcanic rock. After harvest, the grapes are brought to the winery as quickly as possible. There they are selected and gently crushed. This is followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After fermentation is complete, the Spumante Fior D'Arancio can further harmonize for a few months on the fine lees.
