More information about Surfing Chardonnay dry - Bergdolt-Reif & Nett

With the Bergdolt-Reif & Nett Surfing Chardonnay, a top-class white wine enters the well-polished wine glass. In it, it offers a wonderfully bright, golden yellow color. Poured into a white wine glass, this white wine from Germany reveals delightfully expressive aromas of lemon, green apple, and peach, rounded off by additional fruity nuances.

On the palate, the Surfing Chardonnay from Bergdolt-Reif & Nett starts off wonderfully dry, firm, and aromatic. On the tongue, this balanced white wine is characterized by an incredibly crisp texture. Its pronounced fruit acidity impressively showcases the Surfing Chardonnay as fresh and lively on the palate. In the finish, this youthful wine from the Pfalz region ultimately delights with good length. Again, hints of lemon and green apple emerge. In the aftertaste, mineral notes from the clay and loess-dominated soils also join in.

Vinification of the Surfing Chardonnay by Bergdolt-Reif & Nett

This wine clearly focuses on a single grape variety, namely Chardonnay. For this exceptionally balanced varietal wine from Bergdolt-Reif & Nett, only the best grape material was used. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in the Pfalz. The vines dig their roots deep into soils of clay and loess. After the grape harvest, the grapes immediately arrive at the press house. Here, they are sorted and gently crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After fermentation is complete, the Surfing Chardonnay can harmonize on its fine lees for a few months.

Food Recommendation for Bergdolt-Reif & Nett Surfing Chardonnay

Enjoy this white wine from Germany ideally well chilled at 8 - 10°C as a companion to cod with cucumber-mustard vegetables, potato pan with salmon, or coconut-lime fish curry.
