The Vivia Maremma Toscana from the wine-growing region of Tuscany reveals itself in the glass in a brilliantly shimmering light yellow, golden yellow. Excellent taste does not necessarily require residual sugar. On the palate, this light-footed white wine is characterized by an incredibly crisp, light and melting texture. Thanks to its moderate fruit acidity, Vivia Maremma Toscana flatters the palate with a pleasing sensation without lacking in juicy liveliness. The finish is also accompanied by mineral facets from the clay and marl-dominated soils.

Vinification of the Vivia Maremma Toscana from Le Mortelle

The elegant Vivia Maremma Toscana from Italy is a cuvée made from the Inzolia, Vermentino and Viognier grape varieties. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Tuscany. Here, the vines dig their roots deep into soils of loam, sand, clay and marl. When they are perfectly ripe, the grapes for Vivia Maremma Toscana are harvested exclusively by hand without the help of coarse and less selective harvesters. After the grape harvest, the grapes are transported to the press house as quickly as possible. Here they are selected and carefully crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. At the end of this process, the Vivia Maremma Toscana can continue to harmonize on the fine lees for 6 months.

Dining recommendation for Le Mortelle Vivia Maremma Toscana

Ideally, drink this white wine from Italy well chilled at 8 - 10°C as an accompaniment to omelette with salmon and fennel, spaghetti with yoghurt and mint pesto or fruity endive salad.
