More information about Bechtheimer Riesling trocken - Dreissigacker
With Dreissigacker Bechtheimer Riesling, a first-class organic white wine finds its way into the swirled glass. Here it reveals a wonderfully bright, pale yellow color. The color of this white wine also shows golden-yellow reflections at the core. If you give it some air by swirling, you can perceive a first-class balance in this white wine, as it does not appear watery, syrupy or liqueur-like on the glass walls. Poured into a white wine glass, this Old World white wine presents wonderfully expressive aromas of pear, peach, apricot and mirabelle, rounded off by brittle, juniper and whole-milk chocolate contributed by the barrel aging.
This German wine delights with its elegantly dry taste profile. It was bottled with only 2.1 grams of residual sugar. This is a genuine quality wine that clearly stands out from simpler qualities and thus, despite all its dryness, this German wine enchants with the finest balance. Excellent flavor simply does not necessarily require sugar. Thanks to its lively fruit acidity, Bechtheimer Riesling appears exceptionally fresh and vibrant on the palate. On the finish, this white wine from the Rheinhessen wine-growing region finally impresses with extraordinary length. Once again, nuances of vineyard peach and apricot emerge.
Vinification of Bechtheimer Riesling by Dreissigacker
This wine clearly focuses on a single grape variety, namely Riesling. For this wonderfully balanced varietal wine from Dreissigacker, only immaculate grape material was harvested. Bechtheimer Riesling is an Old World wine through and through, as this German wine exudes an exceptional European charm that clearly underscores the success of wines from the Old World. After harvesting, the grapes are brought to the winery as quickly as possible. There they are selected and gently crushed. Fermentation in stainless steel tanks and large wooden casks follows at controlled temperatures. After the end of fermentation, Bechtheimer Riesling can continue to harmonize for 9 months on the fine lees.
