The balanced Birnauer Spätburgunder Bodensee from Germany is a varietal wine, organically vinified from the Pinot Noir grape. After the grape harvest, the grapes are brought to the press house as quickly as possible. There they are sorted and gently crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Vinification is followed by maturation on the fine lees for several months before the wine is finally drawn off.
