More information about Brunello di Montalcino DOCG - Palazzo

With the Palazzo Brunello di Montalcino, a first-class red wine is poured into the swirling glass. It reveals a wonderfully dense, ruby-red color. On the nose, this Palazzo red wine offers a variety of sour cherry, blackberry, blueberry, and currant. If that isn’t already impressive, vanilla is added through maturation in large wooden casks.

On the palate, the Brunello di Montalcino from Palazzo opens pleasantly aromatic, fruit-focused, and balanced. This velvety red wine presents itself as full-bodied and multifaceted on the palate. The finish of this red wine from the Tuscany wine region ultimately impresses with an extraordinary aftertaste.

Vinification of the Brunello di Montalcino from Palazzo

This powerful red wine from Italy is made from the Sangiovese grape variety. When perfect physiological ripeness is ensured, the grapes for the Brunello di Montalcino are harvested exclusively by hand without the use of strenuous and minimally selective harvesters. After hand-harvesting, the grapes are quickly taken to the winery. Here, they are sorted and gently crushed. This is followed by fermentation in large wood tanks at controlled temperatures. The fermentation is then followed by several months of aging in oak barrels.

Food Pairing Recommendations for the Brunello di Montalcino from Palazzo

Enjoy this Italian red wine best at a temperature of 15 - 18°C as a companion to roasted veal liver with apples, onions, and balsamic sauce, veal sirloin with beans and tomatoes, or ossobuco.
