Vinification of the Hans Baer Chardonnay
The elegant Chardonnay from Germany is a single-variety wine, vinified from the Chardonnay grape variety. The wine grapes for this white wine from Germany are harvested particularly quickly and at the coolest possible time of day when they are perfectly ripe, in order to preserve their aromas. After being hand-picked, the grapes are brought to the winery as quickly as possible. There they are sorted and gently crushed. This is followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After fermentation, the wine is aged for several months on the fine lees before it is finally bottled.
