The Chardonnay penned by St. Antony from Rheinhessen shows a brilliant golden yellow color in the glass. This single varietal German wine presents wonderfully expressive notes of apricots, cherry blossoms, acacia and pears in the glass. These are joined by hints of sun-warmed rock and forest floor.
On the palate, the Chardonnay from St. Antony starts wonderfully aromatic, fruit-driven and balanced. Due to its lively fruit acidity, the Chardonnay is fantastically fresh and lively on the palate. In the finish, this white wine from the wine-growing region of Rheinhessen finally inspires with good length. There are again hints of jasmine and apple.
Vinification of the St. Antony Chardonnay
This elegant white wine from Germany is organically vinified from the Chardonnay grape variety. The grapes for this white wine from Germany are harvested exclusively by hand, at the time of optimal ripeness. After the hand harvest, the grapes are quickly transferred to the press house. Here they are selected and carefully ground. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by aging for several months on the fine lees before the wine is finally drawn off.
