More information about Grauer Burgunder trocken - Josef Ambs

The Josef Ambs Grauer Burgunder Kabinett is a first-class white wine. In this it reveals a wonderfully bright, copper-gold color. The first nose of the Grauer Burgunder Kabinett presents notes of nashi pear, pears and quince. The fruity components of the bouquet are joined by more fruity-balsamic nuances.

The Grauer Burgunder Kabinett from Josef Ambs is ideal for all wine lovers who like as little sweetness as possible in their wine. At the same time, it never appears meager or brittle, as one might naturally expect from a wine in the upper price range. Balanced and complex, this light and melting white wine presents itself on the palate. Due to its concise fruit acidity, the Grauer Burgunder Kabinett reveals itself to be fantastically fresh and lively on the palate. In the finish, this white wine from the wine-growing region of Baden finally inspires with good length. Once again, hints of quince and pear appear. In the aftertaste, mineral notes of the soils dominated by loam and loess are added.

Vinification of the Josef Ambs Pinot Gris Kabinett

The basis for the balanced Grauer Burgunder Kabinett from Baden are grapes from the grape variety Grauburgunder. In Baden, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on soils of loam and loess. After manual harvesting, the grapes are immediately taken to the winery. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. Then fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After the end of fermentation, the Pinot Gris Kabinett can continue to harmonize on the fine lees for a few months....

Food recommendation for the Josef Ambs Grauer Burgunder Kabinett
