More information about Kreuzweg Weißer Burgunder trocken - Josef Ambs

With the Josef Ambs Kreuzweg Weißer Burgunder comes a first-class white wine in the glass. In this it reveals a wonderfully bright, light yellow color. The first nose of Kreuzweg Weißer Burgunder flatters with of lemongrass, perfume rose and grapefruits. The fruity hints of the bouquet are joined by notes of barrel aging like even more fruity-balsamic nuances.

On the palate, the texture of this balanced white wine is wonderfully dense. Due to the balanced fruit acidity, the Kreuzweg Weißer Burgunder flatters with a pleasing mouthfeel, without at the same time lacking in juicy liveliness. In the finish, this storable white wine from the wine-growing region of Baden finally inspires with good length. Again, hints of morello cherry and grapefruit appear. In the aftertaste, mineral notes of the soils dominated by loess and loam join in.

Vinification of the Josef Ambs Kreuzweg Pinot Blanc

This balanced white wine from Germany is made from the Pinot Blanc grape variety. In Baden, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on soils of loam and loess. After harvesting, the grapes reach the press house by the fastest route. Here they are sorted and carefully broken up. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks and large wood at controlled temperatures. The fermentation is followed by maturation for 6 months in large oak barrels.
