The elegant Herrenbuck Weißburgunder Kabinett from the house Weingut Kiefer flows into the glass with bright light yellow. In the glass, this white wine from Weingut Kiefer presents aromas of mirabelle plums, limes, lemongrass, kumquats and oranges, complemented by other fruity nuances. This German wine delights with its elegantly dry flavor. It was bottled with only 3.2 grams of residual sugar. This is a real quality wine, which clearly stands out from simpler qualities and so this German wine naturally enchants with the finest balance despite all dryness. Aroma does not necessarily need sugar. Due to the moderate fruit acid, the Herrenbuck Weißburgunder Kabinett flatters with a velvety mouthfeel, without lacking freshness at the same time.
Vinification of the Weingut Kiefer Herrenbuck Weißburgunder Kabinett
In Baden, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on soils of limestone, loess soil and volcanic rock. After manual harvesting, the grapes are immediately taken to the winery. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by aging on the fine lees for several months before the wine is finally bottled.
