More information about Il Rabdomante Montepulciano d'Abruzzo DOP - Feudi Bizantini

This Italian red also shows a transition to garnet red. After the first swirl, this red wine reveals a high density and fullness, which can be seen in clear stained glass windows at the edge of the glass. The bouquet of this red wine from Abruzzo delights with aromas of plum, black cherry, damson and morello cherry. If we continue to explore the aromas, the oak adds oriental spices, garrigue and Mediterranean herbs.

On the palate, the Il Rabdomante Montepulciano d'Abruzzo from Feudi Bizantini starts off wonderfully aromatic, fruity and balanced, and despite its dry taste, this red wine impresses with the finest smoothness and elegantly integrated residual sweetness. This dense red wine is full-bodied and complex on the palate. Thanks to its moderate fruit acidity, Il Rabdomante Montepulciano d'Abruzzo has a pleasant mouthfeel without lacking freshness. On the finish, this wine from the Abruzzo wine-growing region, which can be stored well, finally delights with its beautiful length. There are again hints of plum and morello cherry.

Vinification of the Feudi Bizantini Il Rabdomante Montepulciano d'Abruzzo

This powerful red wine from Italy is made from the Montepulciano grape variety. Il Rabdomante Montepulciano d'Abruzzo is also clearly influenced by the Montepulciano d'Abruzzo DOC climate and winegrowing style. This Italian wine can literally be described as a wine of the Old World, which presents itself in an exceptionally impressive way. After the grape harvest, the grapes are immediately taken to the press house. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. Fermentation then takes place in small wooden vats at controlled temperatures. The fermentation is followed by 9 months of ageing in French and American oak barrels.
