Winemaking of Rings Limestone & Stone
The elegant Limestone & Stone from Germany is a blend, organically vinified from the grape varieties Chardonnay and Weissburgunder. In the Palatinate, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on soils of limestone and sandstone. The Limestone & Stone is a true Old World wine, as this German wine exudes an extraordinary European charm that clearly underscores the success of wines from the Old World. When physiological ripeness is assured, the grapes for the Limestone & Stone are harvested exclusively by hand, without the aid of rough or less selective harvesters. After the harvest, the grapes are immediately transported to the press house. Here, they are sorted and gently crushed. Fermentation then follows at controlled temperatures.
