Lafóa Chardonnay - Kellerei Schreckbichl

The Kellerei Schreckbichl Lafóa Chardonnay is a first-class white wine in a glass. It reveals a wonderfully dense, golden yellow color. When the glass is swirled, this white wine reveals a high viscosity, which can be seen in the clear stained glass windows at the edge of the glass. The nose of this white wine from Trentino-Alto Adige captivates with notes of cherry blossom, Gallia melon, orange blossom and lime. Vinification of the Schreckbichl Lafóa Chardonnay

This powerful white wine from Italy is made from the Chardonnay grape variety. The vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on sand and limestone soils in Trentino-Alto Adige. The Lafóa Chardonnay is an Old World wine in the best sense of the word, as this Italian wine exudes an extraordinary European charm that clearly underlines the success of wines from the Old World. The grapes for this white wine from Italy are harvested exclusively by hand when they are perfectly ripe. After harvesting, the grapes are quickly taken to the press house. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. This is followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks and small wooden barrels at controlled temperatures. Once it has finished, the Lafóa Chardonnay can continue to harmonize on the fine lees for a few months.
