More information about Moscato Bianco Cuè - Cantina Marilina
The organically produced Moscato Bianco Cuè from Cantina Marilina flows into the glass with a bright golden yellow color. This varietal Italian wine presents wonderfully expressive notes of pear, mirabelle plum, lemon, and apple in the glass. There are also hints of pepper.
The Cantina Marilina Moscato Bianco Cuè presents itself to the wine lover as wonderfully dry. This white wine is never coarse or austere, but rather round and smooth. On the palate, the texture of this well-balanced white wine is wonderfully crisp and fleshy. On the finish, this white wine from the Sicilian winegrowing region delights with lovely length. Once again, nuances of peach and ripe apple appear. In the aftertaste, mineral notes from the limestone-dominated soils are also noticeable.
Vinification of the Cantina Marilina Moscato Bianco Cuè
The basis for the balanced Moscato Bianco Cuè from Sicily is grapes of the Moscato Giallo variety. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Sicily. Here, the vines sink their roots deep into limestone soils. After the harvest, the grapes are brought to the winery as quickly as possible. There they are sorted and gently crushed. This is followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks and concrete at controlled temperatures. Vinification is followed by several months of aging on the fine lees before the wine is finally bottled.
