More information about Nußdorfer Kirchenstück Riesling trocken - Karl Pfaffmann
With the Karl Pfaffmann Nußdorfer Kirchenstück Riesling, a first-class white wine finds its way into the glass. It offers a wonderfully bright, light-yellow color. Poured into a white wine glass, this Old World wine presents wonderfully expressive aromas of orange, pear, lime, and grapefruit, rounded off by forest floor and sun-warmed rock.
This German wine delights with its elegantly dry flavor profile. It was bottled with only 7.5 grams of residual sugar. As you would naturally expect from a wine at the premium entry level, despite all its dryness it enchants with the finest balance. Flavor does not necessarily require residual sugar.
On the palate, the texture of this well-balanced white wine is wonderfully crisp. Thanks to its lively acidity, the Nußdorfer Kirchenstück Riesling appears wonderfully fresh and vibrant on the palate. The finish of this white wine from the wine-growing region of Pfalz, more precisely from Nußdorf, is ultimately impressive with a remarkable length. The aftertaste is also accompanied by mineral nuances from the sand- and limestone-dominated soils.
Vinification of the Nußdorfer Kirchenstück Riesling by Karl Pfaffmann
This balanced white wine from Germany is vinified from the Riesling grape variety. In the Pfalz, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on soils of sand, limestone, and loess. After the harvest, the grapes are brought to the winery as quickly as possible. There they are selected and gently crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After fermentation is complete, the Nußdorfer Kirchenstück Riesling can continue to harmonize on the fine lees for several months.
