In the glass, Pilar Monte Bianco from the house of Peter Mertes offers a brilliantly shimmering light yellow color. With a bit of time in the glass, this Italian white wine reveals wonderfully expressive aromas of peach, apricot, and grapefruit, rounded off by further fruity nuances.
Pilar Monte Bianco can rightly be described as exceptionally fruit-driven and velvety, as it has been vinified with a wonderfully sweet flavor profile. On the palate, the texture of this light-footed white wine presents itself as delightfully delicate. Thanks to its lively acidity, Pilar Monte Bianco appears wonderfully fresh and vibrant on the palate. On the finish, this white wine from Italy finally delights with a beautiful length. Again, hints of apricot and grapefruit emerge. After harvesting, the grapes are quickly brought to the winery, where they are sorted and gently crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After fermentation is complete, Pilar Monte Bianco is allowed to further harmonize on the fine lees for several months.
