On the palate, Zeni’s Pini Teroldego Rotaliano opens pleasantly aromatic, fruit-forward and balanced. On the tongue, this harmonious red wine is characterized by an extremely light, silky and crisp texture. The finish of this red wine from the Trentino-Alto Adige wine-growing region, more precisely from Trentino DOC, ultimately impresses with a beautiful aftertaste. The finish is also accompanied by mineral facets from the gravel-dominated soils.
Vinification of Zeni Pini Teroldego Rotaliano
This wine clearly focuses on a single grape variety, namely Teroldego. Only first-class harvested material was used for this exceptionally well-balanced varietal wine from Zeni. In Trentino-Alto Adige, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on gravel soils. After being harvested by hand, the grapes are brought to the press house without delay. There they are sorted and gently crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After fermentation, the wine is aged for several months on the fine lees before finally being bottled.
