More information about Le Origini Amarone della Valpolicella Classico Riserva DOCG - Bolla

Holding the glass at a slight angle, a transition in color towards garnet red can be seen at the edges of this barrel-aged wine. When swirling the wine glass, this red wine reveals a high viscosity, which can be seen in church windows at the edge of the glass. In the glass, this red wine from Bolla reveals aromas of black cherries, Nashi pears, quinces, forest fruit confit and blueberries, complemented by black tea, cigar box and oak. The Bolla Le Origini Amarone della Valpolicella Classico Riserva is a wonderfully dry wine for connoisseurs. This red wine is never coarse or austere, but round and smooth. This powerful red wine is full-bodied and multi-layered on the palate. On the finish, this storable red wine from the Veneto wine-growing region impresses with its exceptional length. Once again, there are hints of Nashi pear and blueberry.

Vinification of the Bolla Le Origini Amarone della Valpolicella Classico Riserva

This powerful red wine from Italy is made from the Corvina and Rondinella grape varieties. The Le Origini Amarone della Valpolicella Classico Riserva is an Old World wine through and through, as this Italian wine exudes an extraordinary European charm that clearly underlines the success of wines from the Old World. The grapes for this red wine from Italy are harvested exclusively by hand at the time of optimum ripeness. After being harvested by hand, the grapes are quickly transported to the winery. Here they are selected and carefully crushed. This is followed by fermentation in large oak barrels at controlled temperatures. The fermentation is followed by maturation on the fine lees for several months before the wine is finally bottled.
