More information about Ruppertsberger Hoheburg Riesling - Weingut Bürklin Wolf

The elegant Ruppertsberger Hoheburg Riesling from Weingut Bürklin Wolf flows into the glass with a bright light yellow color. Swiveling the glass, one can perceive a perfect balance in this white wine, as it does not stand out watery or syrupy or liqueur-like on the walls of the glass. In the glass, this white wine from Weingut Bürklin Wolf presents aromas of apples, pears, plums, nashi pear and vineyard peach, complemented by other fruity nuances. This dry white wine from Weingut Bürklin Wolf is for wine lovers who prefer to drink bone dry. The Ruppertsberger Hoheburg Riesling already comes quite close to this, as it was vinified with just 5.3 grams of residual sugar. On the tongue, this well-balanced white wine is characterized by an incredibly melting texture. Due to its present fruit acidity, the Ruppertsberger Hoheburg Riesling reveals itself to be wonderfully fresh and lively on the palate. The finale of this white wine from the wine-growing region of Palatinate, which has good aging potential, finally delights with a beautiful reverberation. The finish is also accompanied by mineral facets of the soils dominated by clay and volcanic rock.

Vinification of the Ruppertsberger Hoheburg Riesling from Winery Bürklin Wolf

This balanced white wine from Germany is made from the Riesling grape variety. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in the Palatinate region. Here, the vines dig their roots deep into soils of clay and volcanic rock. Ruppertsberger Hoheburg Riesling is an Old World wine through and through, as this German wine breathes an extraordinary European charm that clearly underscores the success of Old World wines. The ripeness of the grapes for this Riesling wine is influenced to a considerable degree by the climate of the growing region. In Pfalz, the grapes thrive in a rather cool climate, which is reflected, among other things, in particularly long and uniform grapes and a rather moderate must weight. The berries for this white wine from Germany are harvested exclusively by hand when they are perfectly ripe. After the harvest, the grapes immediately enter the press house. Here they are selected and gently broken up. Fermentation then takes place in large wood at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by aging for several months in oak barrels.

Food recommendation for the Ruppertsberger Hoheburg Riesling from Weingut Bürklin Wolf

Experience this white wine from Germany best well chilled at 8 - 10°C as an accompanying wine to spaghetti with yogurt-mint pesto, fruity endive salad or stir-fried vegetables with fish.
