The grapes grow under optimal conditions in the Palatinate region. The vines here dig their roots deep into soils of clay and volcanic rock. After manual harvesting, the grapes are quickly taken to the press house. Here they are selected and carefully broken up. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks and large wood at controlled temperatures. After its end, the Riesling is aged for several months in 2400 l double oak barrels.
