More information about Weissburgunder trocken - Weingut Bürklin Wolf

The Weissburgunder (Pinot Blanc) from Weingut Bürklin Wolf in the Palatinate offers a brilliant, light yellow color in the swirled glass. This varietal German wine flatters in the glass wonderfully expressive notes of nashi pear, apples, peaches and quince. These are joined by hints of other fruits.

This dry white wine from Weingut Bürklin Wolf is just right for wine lovers who would prefer 0.0 grams of sugar in their wine. The Weissburgunder already comes very close to this, it was pressed with just 7.9 grams of residual sugar. Light-footed and multifaceted, this crisp white wine presents itself on the palate. Due to the balanced fruit acidity, the Pinot Blanc flatters the palate with a velvety feel, without at the same time lacking juicy liveliness. In the finish, this storable white wine from the wine-growing region of Palatinate finally inspires with beautiful length. There are again hints of peach and nashi pear. In the aftertaste, mineral notes of the soils dominated by clay and sand join in.

Vinification of the Pinot Blanc from Weingut Bürklin Wolf

The grapes grow under optimal conditions in the Palatinate region. The vines here dig their roots deep into soils of clay and sand. After the grapes are harvested, they are quickly taken to the press house. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks and large wood at controlled temperatures. After the completion of fermentation, the Pinot Blanc can continue to harmonize on the fine lees for a few months...
