In the glass, Biorebe’s Sangiovese Rosé presents a bright light-red color. This single-varietal Italian wine flatters the nose in the glass with wonderfully expressive notes of rosehip, hibiscus, pink grapefruit and red currant. Nuances of other fruits join in.
On the palate, the elegant Biorebe Sangiovese Rosé offers an incredibly fruit-forward flavor, which is due not least to its off-dry taste profile. On the tongue, this well-balanced rosé wine is characterized by an exceedingly light texture. Thanks to its pronounced acidity, Sangiovese Rosé appears impressively fresh and lively on the palate. On the finish, this rosé wine from the Sicilian winegrowing region delights with a lovely length. Once again, hints of sour cherry and raspberry appear.
Vinification of Biorebe’s Sangiovese Rosé
The foundation for this balanced Sangiovese Rosé from Italy is grapes of the Sangiovese variety. After harvesting, the grapes are brought to the press house as quickly as possible. There they are sorted and gently crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After fermentation, the wine matures for several months on the fine lees before it is finally bottled.
