Taste does not necessarily require a lot of residual sugar. On the palate, this powerful red wine is characterized by an incredibly silky, dense and melting texture. Vinification of La Braccesca Santa Pia Vino Nobile di Montepulciano Riserva

The basis for the powerful Santa Pia Vino Nobile di Montepulciano Riserva from Tuscany are grapes from the Sangiovese grape variety. Of course, the Santa Pia Vino Nobile di Montepulciano Riserva is also characterized by more than just the Vino Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG soil. This Italian can literally be described as an Old World wine, which presents itself in an extraordinarily distinguished manner. The development of the grapes for this Sangiovese wine is influenced to a very large extent by the climate of the growing region. In Tuscany, the grapes thrive in a warm climate, which is reflected, among other things, in particularly well-ripened grapes and a rather high must weight. The grapes for this red wine from Italy are harvested exclusively by hand when they are perfectly ripe. After harvesting, the grapes are immediately taken to the winery. Here they are sorted and carefully broken up. This is followed by fermentation in large oak barrels at controlled temperatures. At the end of this process, the Santa Pia Vino Nobile di Montepulciano Riserva is aged for 32 months in 900-liter oak tonneaux. The ageing in wooden barrels is followed by a long maturation in the bottle, which makes this red wine even more complex.

Dining recommendation for the Santa Pia Vino Nobile di Montepulciano Riserva from La Braccesca

Ideally, drink this red wine from Italy at a temperature of 15 - 18°C as an accompaniment to roast veal liver with apples, onions and balsamic vinegar sauce, rocket penne or vegetable stew with pesto.
