Sweetheart Sauvignon Blanc 0,5 l - Oliver Zeter

Sweetheart by Oliver Zeter is a Palatine sweet wine, produced purely from Sauvignon Blanc, cheeky, fruity, exotic, spicy with a refined interplay of acidity and fruit sweetness.

The drinking bear with human features on the labels of the wines was penned by an artist from the Palatinate who dedicated it to his friend Walter Baer, Oliver Zeter's great-grandfather, in the 1930s.

Vinification of the Sauvignon Blanc Sweetheart Zeter

The grapes for this wine, as for Oliver Zeter's other Sauvignon Blancs, come from eight vineyards that differ noticeably in location, microclimate and soils, each giving the vines their own character. The Sauvignon Blanc grapes are harvested late and already very ripe, which contributes to the natural sweetness of the wine. The ripe grapes are fermented spontaneously, the must then comes "open air" in January in the winter cold. Depending on what the vintage allows, playful, innovative, exceptional wines are created.
