Poured into a red wine glass, this red wine from Italy reveals wonderfully expressive aromas of blackcurrant, blueberry, mulberry and blackberry, rounded off with dark chocolate, gingerbread spice and black tea, which are contributed by the ageing in wooden barrels.
This dry red wine from Brancaia is perfect for wine lovers who prefer to drink it bone dry. The texture of this powerful red wine is wonderfully fleshy and dense on the palate. The finish of this mature red wine from the Tuscany wine-growing region impresses with a beautiful aftertaste.
Vinification of the Tre Toscana from Brancaia
The basis for the powerful Tre Toscana from Tuscany are grapes from the Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Sangiovese grape varieties. After being harvested by hand, the grapes are quickly transported to the winery. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. Fermentation then takes place in large oak barrels at controlled temperatures of 30-32°C. Fermentation is followed by maturation for 12 months, two thirds in 900-litre oak barrels and one third in concrete tanks.

This red wine from Italy is best enjoyed moderately chilled at 15-16°C as an accompaniment to ossobuco, goose breast with gingery red cabbage and marjoram or stuffed peppers.
