The Trentangeli Castel del Monte Rosso from Tormaresca in Apulia offers a dense, purple-red color when swirled in the glass. The powerful Trentangeli Castel del Monte Rosso from Italy is a cuvée, organically vinified from the Aglianico, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah grape varieties. Naturally, the Trentangeli Castel del Monte Rosso is also influenced by the climate and viticultural style of the Castel del Monte DOC. This Italian wine can literally be described as a wine of the Old World, which presents itself in an exceptionally impressive way. The grapes for this red wine from Italy are picked exclusively by hand when they are perfectly ripe. After the harvest, the grapes are quickly transported to the winery. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. This is followed by fermentation in small oak barrels at controlled temperatures. At the end of fermentation, the Trentangeli Castel del Monte Rosso is aged for another 20 months in French and Hungarian oak barrels. The ageing in barrels is followed by a long period of maturation in the bottle, which makes this red wine even more complex.
