Vinification of the Azienda Uggiano Seratina Chianti Riserva

The basis for the first-class and beautifully balanced Cuvée Seratina Chianti Riserva from Azienda Uggiano is made from Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. After harvesting, the grapes are promptly transported to the presshouse. Here, they are sorted and gently crushed. Fermentation then takes place in large wooden barrels at controlled temperatures. Following the completion of fermentation, the elegant Seratina Chianti Riserva is aged for an additional 6 months in oak barrels.
