The powerful Valbuena 5° Ribera del Duero from Spain is a single varietal wine, vinified from the Tempranillo grape variety. In Castile - Leon, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on soils of limestone and marl. After harvesting, the grapes are immediately taken to the press house. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. Then fermentation takes place in small wood and large wood at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by aging for several months on the fine lees before the wine is finally drawn off.
