More information about Vernaccia Di San Gimignano Rialto - Cappella Sant'Andrea
With the Cappella Sant'Andrea Vernaccia Di San Gimignano Rialto, a first-class organic white wine finds its way into the glass. It reveals a wonderfully dense, golden-yellow color. The initial nose of the Vernaccia Di San Gimignano Rialto shows notes of mirabelle plum, green apple, and ripe apple. Mint/lemon balm joins the fruity components of the bouquet.
This Italian wine tastes pleasantly dry. It was bottled with exceptionally little residual sugar. This is a genuine quality wine that clearly stands out from simpler qualities and, despite all its dryness, this Italian enchants with the finest balance. Flavor does not necessarily require a lot of residual sugar. On the palate, this powerful white wine is characterized by an immensely fleshy and crisp texture. On the finish, this wine from the Tuscan wine-growing region delights with beautiful length. Once again, hints of mirabelle plum and ripe apple appear.
Vinification of Cappella Sant'Andrea Vernaccia Di San Gimignano Rialto
This wine clearly focuses on a single grape variety, namely Vernaccia. For this exceptionally powerful single-varietal wine from Cappella Sant'Andrea, only immaculate grapes were harvested. After hand-picking, the grapes are brought to the winery as quickly as possible. There they are selected and gently crushed. This is followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After fermentation is complete, the Vernaccia Di San Gimignano Rialto can continue to harmonize on the fine lees for 12 months.
