This single-varietal Italian wine flatters the glass with wonderfully expressive notes of blackberry, blueberry, sour cherry and redcurrant. There are also hints of leather, coffee/mocha and blackcurrant.

The Torre Zambra Villamagna Riserva Hoki tastes pleasantly dry. It was bottled with exceptionally little residual sugar. As you would expect from a wine from the Icon wine segment, this Italian naturally delights with the finest balance despite its dryness. Excellent taste does not necessarily require residual sugar. The texture of this powerful red wine is wonderfully dense on the palate. On the finish, this wine from the Abruzzo region delights with its beautiful length. There are again hints of blackberry.

Vinification of the Torre Zambra Villamagna Riserva Hoki

The basis for the powerful Villamagna Riserva Hoki from Abruzzo are grapes from the Montepulciano grape variety. After the grape harvest, the grapes are quickly transported to the winery. Here they are selected and carefully broken up. This is followed by fermentation in concrete and large wood at controlled temperatures. At the end of this process, the powerful Villamagna Riserva Hoki is matured for 32 months in oak barrels.

This red wine from Italy is best enjoyed at a temperature of 15 - 18°C as an accompaniment to a variety of dishes, but is also a pleasure to drink on its own.
