The powerful Barbaresco Bernadot from the house of Ceretto flows into the glass with a dense ruby red color. Slightly tilting the glass reveals a transition of color at the edges toward garnet red. Giving it some air by swirling, this red wine reveals high density and richness, which is also evident through the pronounced "church window" effect at the glass rim. The Ceretto Barbaresco Bernadot presents itself to the wine lover as wonderfully dry. This red wine is never coarse or austere, as is appropriate for a wine of this renown. On the palate, the texture of this full-bodied red wine is wonderfully fleshy and dense. Balanced fruit acidity caresses the palate with a velvety feel, without lacking juicy liveliness. The finish of this wine from the Piedmont wine region ultimately delights with a beautiful aftertaste.

Vinification of Ceretto Barbaresco Bernadot

This red wine clearly focuses on one grape variety, namely Nebbiolo. For this wonderfully powerful, single-varietal wine by Ceretto, only impeccable grape material was used. After harvest, the grapes are immediately taken to the pressing house. Here, they are sorted and gently crushed. Fermentation then occurs at controlled temperatures. Following fermentation, the wine undergoes aging.
