The Castel Beseno Superiore can rightfully be described as exceptionally fruit-driven and velvety, as it has been vinified with a wonderfully sweet flavor profile. On the palate, the texture of this light-footed dessert wine presents itself as wonderfully silky, velvety, creamy, and dense. On the finish, this dessert wine from the Trentino-Alto Adige wine-growing region delights with a beautiful length. Once again, there are hints of acacia and raisins. In the aftertaste, mineral notes from the soils dominated by gravel and limestone join in.

Vinification of Castel Beseno Superiore by Salizzoni

This elegant dessert wine from Italy is made from the Goldmuskateller grape variety. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Trentino-Alto Adige. Here, the vines sink their roots deep into soils of limestone and gravel. After the grape harvest, the grapes are swiftly brought to the winery. There they are sorted and gently crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After fermentation, the wine is aged for a few months on the fine lees before finally being bottled.
