More information about Diamicton - Piffer
With Piffer Diamicton, a first-class sparkling wine flows into the swirled glass. It reveals a wonderfully bright, light red color. The mousse of this sparkling wine presents itself in the glass. On the nose, this Piffer sparkling wine offers all kinds of acacia notes. As if that were not already impressive, further aromas such as vanilla are added thanks to aging in stainless steel.
On the palate, the texture of this well-balanced sparkling wine is wonderfully light, crisp and creamy. The finish of this sparkling wine from the Trentino-Alto Adige winegrowing region, more precisely from Trentino DOC, finally delights with a beautiful aftertaste. The finish is also accompanied by mineral notes from the sand- and gravel-dominated soils.
Vinification of Piffer Diamicton
This balanced sparkling wine from Italy is made from the grape varieties Chardonnay, Pinot Meunier and Pinot Noir. In Trentino-Alto Adige, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on sandy and gravelly soils. After the harvest, the grapes are immediately brought to the winery. There they are sorted and gently crushed. The base wines are then fermented.
